I do like to write. More than others, less that a lot of others. lol. I'll throw up a new thread, each with 3 pieces in it. I'll do that like, every 2 weeks or so as to not flood the forum. Some of the things I write can hit home for people. I have been told that my work sucks, depresses people, and ((in one instance)) kept them from suicide because they saw how stupid it would be to do so for the reason they had in mind. So, I warn you, if you don't want to read anything that could do any one of those things, do not read any farther.

Time is really something.
Twisting and contorting reality.
Showing what is true
Through colors that are not.
Making shining examples of
Dull and long since dead veterans.
Lined, wrapped, sealed, and contained
Inside a vessel from which nothing escapes.
The truth behind the lies.
Holding onto what burns.
Shielding those you wish to love
From those you show love to.
A sense of duty before
Friendship lasts for a while
But is it enough to last the last mile?
Will strife be overcome?
Will the truth shine through
Colors that are faded to no more?
Only time will tell.
Time is really something.

Singing his frustrations
Singing his depressions
Thinking of his life
And the twisted humor
With which he's lived it
Sitting in the darkness
Mist swirling around him
Tears rolling from his eyes
The cold stone at his back
He can feel the engravings
You never knew how much I cared for you
Never saw how much I loved for you
Every day you saw me there
Every day I saw your tears
Never once knowing my emotions
Never once showing you my heart
Here I stay every night and day
Waiting for you to see my endless fear
Sitting in his darkness
The mist swirling around him
Tears falling to his lap
Engravings to his back
He can tell how much they cared
Sitting here in my darkness
With the mist swiriling around me
Singing my heart out to the growing light
giving voice to my frustrations
Letting my depression known
Sitting against this stone
Waiting for your lovely face
I wait once more
Sitting in the growing light
Mist retreating away from him
Tears hitting the grass
He can tell how much they cared
If only they cared before she died.
I must them once more
Showing a smile we know is fake
Hiding my rolling tears
And my growing fears
And even while I know I won't see you again
I wish I could once more
If only to tell you I loved you
Before time ran out
Until once more I'll join you here
I leave you with words to late
I love you from the bottom of my heart
Sitting in the growing light
As he walks away
The grass raises once more
She can tell how much he cared
For even in the grave, She loves him still.

Honey, poems are supposed to bring emotions to the surface. They're supposed to help people feel things. Lol. The only reasons I gave warnings is because I made is a rule to warn people and because of the type of memories some of my writing may bring up.

Neither do I. I just don't like the fact that I'm able to arise those types of feelings. It's not what I write for. I write to release my feelings. My worries. Frustrations and vices.
